Terms of Use

1. Your account and materials

Provide accurate account information and keep your login secure. Submit only materials you own or have permission to use. You retain ownership of your writing and allow it to be processed as needed to save your work and provide the service you request. If you are a minor, obtain any permission required by applicable law.

2. Feedback, not authorship

Our advisor provides diagnostic feedback, questions, and explanations only. It does not write or rewrite application content on your behalf. You are responsible for every word you submit to a college and for complying with that institution’s application and academic-integrity policies.

3. No admission guarantees

Advisor feedback can be incomplete or incorrect. Verify admissions requirements, deadlines, costs, and eligibility with official university sources. The Admissions Committee Simulator is a preparation simulation, not a real committee, admissions decision, probability, or guarantee. colgrad is not acting on behalf of the colleges displayed on the site.

4. Plans and payment

Free includes one essay and one essay review total; revising that essay does not reset the allowance. Other free review allowances are displayed within the relevant tool. Pro costs $29 USD per month and provides unlimited access to all tools while paid access is active. Full Application Period costs $99 USD once for six months of access to all tools, with no automatic renewal.

Pro renews monthly until canceled. Canceling renewal keeps access through the current paid period. Paid plans include a 30-day satisfaction refund: email main@colgrad.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Any applicable taxes and final charges are shown at checkout. 5. Acceptable use

Do not access another person’s account without authorization, attempt to bypass usage or payment restrictions, interfere with the service, upload unlawful materials, or misrepresent someone else’s writing as your own. Access may be restricted where necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, or comply with law.

6. Availability and responsibility

Service availability and feedback quality are not guaranteed. Keep independent copies of important application materials and do not rely on colgrad as your only record of a deadline. Nothing in these terms excludes protections, remedies, or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

7. Changes and questions

Terms may be updated as colgrad develops. The updated date is shown above. Contact main@colgrad.com about these terms, account issues, or billing. These terms do not specify a registered legal entity, jurisdiction, or arbitration arrangement; they do not waive mandatory consumer rights.
